PlayIP.TV plays the channels, films and series your own provider gives you — on your phone, your tablet and your television, with one account keeping them in sync. Bring your own provider; we supply the player and nothing else.

How it works
Three steps, and the third one only happens once.

1. Create an account
An email address and a password. The account exists so your provider details, favourites and history follow you from the phone to the TV.

2. Connect your provider
Xtream Codes credentials, an M3U playlist URL, or a Stalker portal MAC. These are details your provider gave you — PlayIP.TV does not issue them and cannot supply them.

3. Pair the television
The TV shows a code, you approve it once from the signed-in phone, and the TV is set up. No typing a password with a remote control.

A lineup that reads properly
Provider lists arrive as thousands of rows like RO| Pro TV FHD. The app recognises the station behind the prefix, groups the duplicate feeds of one channel together, and attaches a real logo.

Now and next, taken from your provider's guide where it has one and from curated public XMLTV where it does not — refreshed in the background.

Built for a remote control
The television interface is a real leanback interface driven by the D-pad, not a phone layout stretched to 1080p.

Whatever video-on-demand your provider carries, browsable by season and episode, with your place remembered.

Favourites and history, synced
Mark a channel on the phone and it is on the television. Continue watching follows you between the two.

Hardware decoding
Video is decoded by the device's own hardware through ExoPlayer, which is what keeps a 4K stream smooth on TV hardware that is not fast.
What PlayIP.TV is not
- It is not a TV service, and it includes no content. The app ships with no channels, no films, no series and no playlists. Installed and signed in, before you connect a provider, it shows an empty library.
- We do not sell, resell or broker IPTV subscriptions, and we are not affiliated with any provider. We cannot give you provider credentials, recommend a provider, or help you find one.
- No video passes through our servers. Your device requests the stream from your provider directly and plays it. We do not host, cache, proxy, transcode or redistribute any stream.
- We do not index or search other people's playlists. The app only ever shows the lineup returned by the credentials you entered.
- You are responsible for making sure the service you connect is one you are entitled to use. See the Terms of Service.
Privacy, briefly

Provider credentials are encrypted
Encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database, so they are not readable in it.

No advertising, no ad SDKs
There are no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app, and we do not sell or share personal data.

Stream health is anonymous
The app reports whether a stream played, so dead channels can be flagged. That record has no account attached to it — by design, in the database schema itself.
